Egypt’s Int’l Quran Miracle Contest: Participation Deadline Extended
The Al-Azhar Islamic Center’s Committee of Scientific Miracle of Quran and Sunnah will organize the international competition on “scientific miracle of the Quran and Sunnah in creating human capacities for achieving sustainable development”.
Those willing to take part in the contest can submit their works on the theme of the event by April 30, according to Yawm7.com website.
The committee said the extension of the deadline came at the request of researchers in Egypt and other countries who want to take part in the competition.
The papers should be either in Arabic or in English, not have been submitted to other events, and not have been published before, according to the committee.
It added that the works should be between 100 and 150 pages in length and include a 10-to-20-page abstract.
Participants should not be among those who have won top ranks in the previous editions of the competition.
Top 15 participants will be awarded a total of 71,000 Egyptian pounds.
Also, selected papers participating in the contest will be published in a volume.
